Sandra Harris

Sandra has over 30 years of combined business and consulting experience, focused on helping organizations enhance the effectiveness of their most valuable resource – their people. Sandra began her career as a senior leader with an international telecommunications firms and has built up extensive experience as an Organizational Effectiveness consultant, facilitator, educator, leadership coach and mediator.

Sandra's clients have ranged from small high growth technology firms to some of Canada's largest companies, including The Bank of Nova Scotia, Glaxo-Wellcome-SmithKline and Sheridan College, as well as not-for-profits, unions and associations. For over fifteen years Sandra has done extensive work with the University Health Network, including designing and delivering several training courses for their calendar, implementing a broad based Management Development program, for which she and UHN received special recognition from the International Coaches Federation, and assisting with the establishment of an organization-wide Code of Conduct. Other clients include the Ontario Pension Board (OPB), Lakeridge Health Corporation, West Park, Toronto Rehab and Mackenzie Health. Sandra taught part-time for OISE, UofT for 12 years and is currently on faculty with the Schulich School of Business, Masters Certificate in Adult Training & Development, the Schulich Masters Certificate in Healthcare Administration and the DeGroote Executive Education, Leadership Development for Directors and Physician Leaders.

Sandra has a Masters Degree in Adult Education, from the University of Toronto. In addition, she is qualified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the Bar-On Emotional Intelligence Assessment, has completed advanced training as a Professional and Personal Coach and a four year study of psychotherapy. On-going areas of interest include Appreciative Inquiry, Positive Leadership and Crucial Conversations.
